Lahori Fish


Ingredients:

King fish (Fillets) 1 kg
Rice water 1 tbsp
Rice flour 2 tbsp
Gram flour (sieved) 1 cup
Cumin seeds (roasted and powdered) 1 tsp
Red chillies (crushed) 1 tbsp
Hot spices powder 1 tbsp
Caram seeds 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Lemon 6
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method:

Boil rice water, turmeric and juice of 2 lemons in a pot.
Add fish fillets and remove after two minutes.
Mix gram flour, rice flour, red chillies, hot spices, carom seeds, cumin, salt and little water in a bowl and make a thick paste
Add juice of remaining lemons and keep the lemon skin aside.
Apply the masala paste on the fish using the lemon skins; keep aside for 1 hour.
Heat litle oil on an iron griddle; fry fish from both sides; remove and keep aside for a litle while.
Heat oil in a wok and fry fish golden; remove and serve.
