Sheer Khorma


Ingredients:

Fresh milk 1 kg
Vermicelli (broken) 1 cup
Sugar 2cups
Cloves 2
Green cardamoms (crushed) 6
Dried dates 8
Pistachios and almonds (finely cut) 15 altogether
Clarified butter 2 tbsp


Method:

Take dates; cut into 4 pieces each.
Heat clarified butter in a pot; fry cardamoms and cloves till they give off aroma.
Add Vermicelli; lightly fry and remove.
In the same pot, fry dates, pistachios and almonds, remove pot from flame.
When pot is cooled, boil milk in it; add sugar and cook for few minutes.
When sugar dissolve add vermicelli, dates, almonds and pistachios; serve hot.
