Potato Chaat

Recipe

Ingredients:

Potatoes (boild) 1/2 kg
Tamarind pulp 1 cup
Red chilles (crauhed) 1/2 tbsp
Block pepper (crushed) 1 tsp
Cumin (roasted and powdered) 1 tbsp
Onions (finely cut) 2
Mint (chopped) 1 bunch
Green chilies (finaly cut) 4
Dried ginger powder 2tbsp
Block salt (powdered) 1pinch
Jaggery powder 2 tbsp
Peanuts (roasted) 1 cup
Lemon juice 2tbsp
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander (chopped) for garnishing
Papri (crumbled) for garnishing

Method:

Cube polatoes; mix in a bowl with red chilies, peanuts. and salt.
Cook Tamarind pulp, dried ginger, pepper, jaggery and cumin in a soucepan till jaggery melts.
Add black salt, onions, mint and salt; remove; pour on potatoes; add green chilies and lemon juice on top.
Garnish with coriander and papri; serve.
