White Chicken Tikka is a creamy, mild, and flavorful chicken recipe loved for its tender texture and rich taste. This restaurant-style white tikka is marinated in cream, spices, and nuts, then cooked to perfection. It’s perfect for BBQ nights, dinner parties, or Ramadan iftar.
Ingredients:
Chicken – 1 kg (boneless cubes)
Vinegar – 4 tbsp
Crushed green chilies – 2 tbsp
White pepper – 1 tsp
Kachri powder – 1 tsp
Roasted cumin (crushed) – 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Almond paste – 2 tbsp
Fresh cream – ½ cup
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Onion – 1 medium (finely chopped)
Salt – to taste
Oil – ¼ cup
Method:
Step 1:
Wash chicken and make small cuts so marinade absorbs well.
Step 2:
In a bowl add vinegar, salt, white pepper, green chilies, ginger garlic paste, kachri powder, and ghee. Mix well and marinate chicken for 1–2 hours.
Step 3:
Heat oil in a pan and sauté chopped onion until light golden.
Step 4:
Add marinated chicken and cook on low flame until tender and water dries.
Step 5:
Mix almond paste in cream, add to chicken, and cook 5–7 minutes.
Step 6:
Serve hot with naan, chutney, and salad.
Alternative Cooking Methods
Oven: Bake at 200°C for 20 minutes
Grill: Grill skewers for 12–15 minutes
Air Fryer: Cook at 180°C for 15 minutes
